Answering Calls

To answer an incoming call:

1.

Make sure your phone is on. (If your phone is off, incoming
calls go to voicemail.)

2.

Press

to answer an incoming call.

Your phone notifies you of incoming calls in the following ways:

The phone rings or vibrates.

The backlight illuminates.

The screen displays an incoming call message.

If the incoming call is from a number stored in your Phone Book, the
phone book entry’s name is displayed. The caller’s phone number
may also be displayed, if available.

The following options are also displayed. To select an option, press
the corresponding softkey button.

Silence (

) or

mutes the ringer. (If you do not answer

the call, it is forwarded to your voicemail.)

Answer (

) answers the incoming call.

Answering a Roam Call With Call Guard Enabled

Call Guard is an option that helps you manage your roaming charges
when making or receiving calls while outside the Sprint Nationwide
PCS Network. (See “Controlling Your Roaming Experience” on page
53 for more information about roaming.)

To answer a call when you are roaming and Call Guard is enabled:

Select Answer to answer the call. (See ‘To answer incoming
roaming calls with Call Guard on:” on page 58.)

Ending a Call

To disconnect a call when you are finished:

Press

or

End call.

Note:

When your phone is off, incoming calls go directly to voicemail.
